May Recap and June News

May Recap:
May was a busy month full of love, gratitude, and appreciation. We want to thank all our amazing parents for your generosity during Teacher Appreciation Week; we are truly grateful! You showered the staff beyond measure. Our Mother’s Day Tea Party was a beautiful event, and we hope our mothers enjoyed their Mother’s Day cards and unique crafts. The children put a lot of thought and love into them.
Our focus in May was on Dinosaurs and Africa. You can imagine the children’s reactions to the dinosaurs. They concentrated while learning about fossils and how to bring them out of the earth gently. The children and staff showed so much enthusiasm with curriculum planning in May. Our enrichment activities provided us with new ways of telling our mom’s that we love them. We also made caterpillars, sombreros, and smoothies during enrichments. The children learned new recipes for fresh tropical fruit smoothies and guacamole making. They danced to the beat of African music and were introduced to new musical instruments! They also improved their Spanish skills by learning popular Spanish phrases and colors!
June News:
June is here, and it is a bittersweet month for us here at Belltower. This month we will see many of our children leave our center as they transition into new schools for the upcoming academic year. We would like to wish you the best of luck and thank you for being a part of our Belltower family. Feel free to stop by any time to visit! You are always welcome to come back home. On Friday, June 17th, we celebrate our dads for Father’s Day. Please join us between the hours of 9:30 am-10:30 am. Our annual graduation ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 23rd, from 10:30 am-12:00 pm. We are very excited that our focus in Geography this month is our beautiful home state of California! Our children will learn what makes California so special and unique. Keep your eyes and ears open for new activities and knowledge your children will be bringing home to share with you. As always, thank you, parents!
