December has been a truly special and meaningful month here at Belltower Montessori, filled with generosity, learning, celebration, and community.



This month, our classrooms were alive with rich Montessori lessons that encouraged curiosity and global awareness. The children explored South America, learning about its geography, culture, and animals. They also studied animal life cycles, observing how living things grow and change over time, and explored leaves, discovering their parts, textures, and the changes they undergo with the seasons. In addition, our cultural studies focused on celebrations and holidays from around the world, helping children develop respect and appreciation for diverse traditions.

Our featured book this month was The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, which beautifully reinforced themes of generosity, kindness, and giving—values we strive to nurture daily in our Montessori environment.

We were honored to participate in the Spark of Love Toy Drive, thanks to the incredible generosity of our families. Parents and children donated toys to help bring joy to others, and it was especially meaningful when our local fire department came to campus to pick up the donations. This experience allowed our children to see kindness and service in action.

Another highlight of the month was our Holiday Winter Performances. It was a joy to welcome families onto campus to watch the children shine with confidence and pride as they shared songs and performances they had been practicing.

We also had a lot of fun during Spirit Week, where creativity and school spirit were on full display! From Crazy Sock Day and Red & Green Day to Pajama Day and Ugly Sweater Day, both children and staff embraced each theme with excitement and laughter.

As we head into our holiday winter break, please remember that the school will be closed until January 2nd. We hope this time brings rest, joy, and meaningful moments with loved ones.
