June 2021

May was a busy month full of love love, gratitude and appreciation. We would like to thank all  our amazing parents for being so generous and giving during Teacher Appreciation Week, we are truly grateful! Our Mother’s Day Tea Party was a beautiful event and we hope our mothers enjoyed their Mother’s Day card and special craft, the children put a lot of time and thought into them.

The Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success, thank you parents and scholastic for your generous donations, our classroom libraries are overflowing with new books! It was great to see so many of our parents at Parent-Teacher Conferences, your participation is key for success in your child's education.

Our focus was South America this month and the children and staff showed so much enthusiasm in curriculum planning and enrichment activities. We made jeweled clay pots, rainforest feather masks, Nazca Lines and Brazilian bracelets for art class. The children learned many new recipes in cooking including Banana Cereal Pops, fresh tropical fruit smoothies and healthy cucumber style tacos. They danced to the beat in music class and were introduced to new musical instruments like Maracas! They also brushed up on their Spanish skills by learning popular Spanish phrases, colors and even filing in their family trees! For fun videos of enrichment each week please follow our social media pages.

June is here and it is a bittersweet month for us here at Belltower. This month we will see many of our children go as they transition into new schools for the upcoming academic year. We would like to wish you the best of luck and want to thank you for being a part of our Belltower family, feel free to stop by and visit! Our graduation ceremony will be Tuesday, June 22nd. Our focus in Geography this month is our beautiful home state of California! Our children will be learning what makes us so special and unique. Keep your eyes and ears open for new activities and knowledge your children will be bringing home to share with you, as always thank you parents!
