April Recap
Welcome back from Spring Break! April was a joyful and engaging month across our classrooms, filled with hands-on learning and special celebrations.
Students explored the beloved story Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr., enjoying its playful rhythm while participating in related art, music, and literacy activities. Classrooms also enjoyed egg hunting and creative projects.
In honor of the Day of the Child, our school hosted a fun Spirit Week with themed days including sports day, crazy hair, Disney day, pajama day, and dress-up as superheroes and princesses, bringing smiles and school spirit to all.
Throughout the month, students explored the continent of Australia, learning about its unique animals, culture, and foods through hands-on experiences. Science lessons included studying the life cycle of a chicken and observing eggs in incubators.
We also celebrated Earth Day by introducing the importance of the 3 R’s, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, through songs, activities, and environmental projects that encouraged caring for our planet.
April was filled with meaningful learning, creativity, and community spirit. We look forward to all that May will bring!
